Both have a unique perspective and when their visions are combined, beautiful designs are created to allure the bride and groom. These two sisters set the bar for extravagant event design, with a keen sense of modern glamour and traditional sophistication. Each wedding or event receives the special attention and care it deserves from ceremony flowers and personals to floral arrangements for the reception, each work of art is specifically designed to tell a story like no other.
Parties & Petals
We believe in flowers! They can change a room, a mood, a day. They create a feeling. They’re the difference between nothing and something original, between a great story on paper, and one that actually comes to life. They can be personal, or professional. They say a lot about a couple, a company, an individual or an event, without a sound.
Flowers have the ability to transform a space, creating the most magical, memorable experience for all of those inside its bubble. Your wedding or event decor should tell your unique story, not someone else’s. Have a crazy color scheme or design idea in mind, or trying to incorporate different traditions into your event? Let’s chat!
We work closely with our Clients to personalize their décor, from ceiling to floor. We have a passion for floral design and are committed to delivering the event of your dreams whether a small, intimate gathering or big, momentous event.

Peony & Plum
Peony & Plum is the inspired idea of owner, Susan Tom-Nellis. Susan brings a fresh approach to floral design—having grown up in colorful and casual Honolulu, HI, she fuses these island sentiments with her understanding of composition and form gained from her studies at UCLA’s prestigious Art Department. Add to the mix, Susan’s role of Creative Director for an influential Los Angeles advertising agency and you’ve got a talented woman who keeps calm under pressure.
Susan’s unique background leads to floral creations that are sophisticated yet whimsical, where traditional elements live happily alongside the unexpected. Peony & Plum’s floral arrangements are designed with more than just aesthetics in mind. When you choose our creations we believe you are “inviting” our designs to be part of your wedding. It’s an honor we don’t take lightly.
We believe floral design can add an unspoken message to your wedding. Beyond visual impact, Peony & Plum embraces the idea that floral design can set the tone of any nuptials, a bride’s bouquet can whisper an intimate sentiment to the groom, and centerpieces can exude coziness even at a grand celebration.
