Jamaica Rose grew up in the small coastal town of Newport, Oregon. After many years in the kitchen, she found her true passion in desserts while attending college. She started working at The Sweet Life Patisserie in Eugene, Oregon, and fell in love with the art of the wedding cake. She later met, and married, her husband James and moved to his home town of Los Angeles, California. After a few years of working regular jobs and not finding the right bakery for her, she realized it was time to open her own shop. Jamaica’s Cakes was born in the spring of 2005, and Jamaica has never looked back since.
At Jamaica’s Cakes we value the quality just as much as the artistry. Everything is made from scratch in small batches. We never freeze our cakes, and never use shortening -- two shortcuts that most bakers use which always compromises quality.

Sweet E’s is LA’s home for custom treats. We offer an array of delicious mini desserts including cupcakes, cakes, and cookies as well as our signature “cake pops.” CitySearch.com voted Sweet E’s the “Best in LA!” in 2009. At Sweet E’s we specialize in customizing our creations to match any event. We work hand in hand with our customers to create a design specifically for your special day. We also have a Vegan line of cupcakes and brownies, all which can be custom decorated as well.
Erica Tucker, owner of Sweet E’s, grew up in Texas helping her mother and grandmother in the kitchen. These sweet, warm experiences instilled in Erica a passion for baking that led her to be known as the “go-to girl” for decadent desserts. She founded Sweet E’s Bake Shop and is now sharing her enthusiasm for sweet treats with the world.
With the success of Sweet E’s, Erica was featured on Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars” and Sweet E’s has been in many high profile publications including In Touch Weekly, LA Times, and Hollywood Reporter. Sweet E’s has also baked for some of Hollywood’s biggest names including American Idol, the cast of Glee, E! Entertainment, Jennie Garth, Whitney Port, and Audrina Patridge.
