Often recruited by local and national celebrities from the realms of entertainment, sports, and high ranking professionals, Owner/Executive Producer Justin Ferar blends contemporary aesthetics with retro-chic Super 8 mm film and elegantly reinvents the old school wedding video.
Personal credits include work for Actors/Producers Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Robin Williams, Marcia Garces, David Thwaites, Garry Marshall, and Baz Luhrmann. Visit www.weddingsonfilm.com for full credit list.
Justin’s innovative use of High Definition for the wedding of Grammy-award-winning record producer Walter Afanasieff is one of the earliest applications of HD in wedding filming.
Maintaining the signature look of Weddings on Film with high-end, film-style production values, Justin personally films each wedding, working closely with his wife Georgina, who adds her own distinctly feminine perspective.
Having written articles regarding wedding cinematography for Your Wedding Day magazine and Get Married, Justin is also a former video producer for luxury-oriented San Francisco 7x7 magazine.
Weddings on Film is a Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Five Star Platinum List honoree for 2006-2007, a recommended vendor by Daily Candy, Marin Magazine, Splendora, Style Me Pretty and is certified by Here Comes the Guide.
See weddingsonfilm.com for Justin’s lavish demos, or arrange a studio meeting for detailed viewing and a glass of Veuve Clicquot.
